Two works from The Ingram Collection will be joining a new exhibition dedicated to the work and influence of Alberto Giacometti, one of the giants of twentieth century art. The exhibition, at UEA’s Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the artist’s death and is an exciting opportunity to examine the artist’s influence amongst his contemporaries in Paris and his impact on British art in the post-war period. As part of this exploration into Giacometti’s impact in Britain, the exhibition will feature two sculptures from The Ingram Collection – Kenneth Armitage’s Model for the Krefeld Monument No. 2, 1956, and Reg Butler’s Young Girl, 1951.
