An exploration of the relationship between sculpture and drawing
Our next exhibition opens this week at the Royal Society of Sculptors, pairing drawings from The Ingram Collection with drawings by contemporary sculptors, in a conversation which plays out across the paired works and the show as a whole.
The original drawings are from sculptors including Barbara Hepworth, Elisabeth Frink, Henry Moore, Lynn Chadwick, Eric Gill, Allen Jones and Eduardo Paolozzi.
They will be paired with drawings by contemporary artists including Zachary Eastwood Bloom, James Capper, Jodie Carey, Richard Deacon RA, Sokari Douglas Camp, Laura Ford, Tania Kovats, Langlands & Bell, Hew Locke, William Mackrell, Susie MacMurray, Humphrey Ocean, Cathie Pilkington RA, Amy Stephens, Susan Stockwell and Susan York.
