We are delighted to announce that over fifty works from the Ingram Collection are to form an exhibition at Bristol’s Royal West of England Academy. Opening on 21st March, the exhibition will showcase a comprehensive range of drawings from the Ingram Collection, featuring works by Edward Burra, Cecil Collins, Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, Mary Fedden, Elisabeth Frink, Barbara Hepworth, Keith Vaughan, Henry Moore, John Nash, Ceri Richards and Stanley Spencer, amongst many more.

Chris says “I love sharing the Collection and one of my hopes for this exhibition is that people who see it come away thinking what extraordinary talent we have in this country. I am really, really keen on draughtsmanship. I think it is a hugely important skill. Drawing is the place for an artist to start in my view.”

The RWA is offering plenty of opportunities to get involved in this celebration of drawing. Featuring alongside the Ingram Collection exhibition will be Drawn, their biennial open submission drawing exhibition, as well as their popular Drawing Lab, a space designed to encourage interaction and participation.
