With his freely expressive method of painting, Peter McLaren’s compositions exude energy and a sense of movement. He studied at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 1986. His graduate exhibition was well received, in particular his oil paintings of figures on racing bikes which he made in a technique close to action painting or performance.
