Eric Ravilious was invited by the then publicity officer of London Transport, Christian Barman, to design printed imagery for the campaign to promote London’s Green Line Coaches. The works depicts the four images used to promote the routes to Chalfont St. Giles, Crawley, Great Bookham and Whipsnade.
