Prior to this work, Edward Bawden had made a number of line-drawn illustrations for ‘Another Brighton’ by Clifford Musgrave, published in The Sunday Times, 6 September 1953. This is one of several linocuts of Brighton, including The Palace Pier and Snowstorm.
